Hackathons
The Local Entrepreneurial Hackathons are hands-on, competitive events designed to help VET learners apply their knowledge to real business challenges.
Five hackathons are organised across the participating Eastern Neighbourhood countries, each hosted by a partner VET organisation.
Bringing together learners who have completed the project’s training and have been supported by trained VET mentors, these events simulate real entrepreneurial environments. Participants work in teams to develop solutions to challenges provided by local businesses and labour market representatives.
The hackathons act as a bridge between the e-Hub training phase and the Work-Based Learning (WBL) phase, while also helping identify top-performing learners. By fostering collaboration between education and industry, they contribute to building a strong and sustainable Hubs4Change community.
